DIVISION AND STANDARDS FOR THE OBTC CONFORM TO GLTC REGULATIONS

SINGLES

OPEN DIVISION – This division is for highly advanced tournament players and is intended for players rated in the NTRP 5.0 category and above.

A DIVISION – This division is for advanced tournament players and is intended for players rated in NTRP 4.5 category.

B DIVISION – This division is for high intermediate tournament players and is intended for players rated in NTRP 3.5 to 4.0 category.

C DIVISION – This division is for low intermediate tournament players and is intended for players rated in the NTRP 3.0 category.

D DIVISION – This division is for beginning players with no significant tournament experience and is intended for players rated in NTRP 2.0 to 2.5 categories.

35 & Over DIVISION – Any player may enter who will reach the minimum age of 35 by December 31, 2006. GLTA ranking points for this division are awarded in the same manner as for the A division. This division is intended for accomplished tennis players who are 35 or older.
